Instruction at KHS
Kearney High School is accredited by th North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Over 57% of the faculty have completed Masters degrees or higher. Kearney High has been recognized by the United States Department of Education Secondary School Recognition Program. Kearney High Schools continues a tradition of excellence by maintaining a strong representation in state-wide rankings for academics, clubs, forensics, music, student government, theater and athletics. KHS students have ranked above the Nebraska and National levels on the ACT for the past 21 years.

Register Now for the ACT/SATVisit the guidance office if you have questions about registering for the upcoming ACT/SAT exams. Students can register on-line at ACTstudent. org or by sending in the paper registration which is available in the Guidance Office.
